Melinda
Buttle

Melinda latest work can be seen in "Acting Lessons" a QPIX short film. She has also starred in "5 Women Wearing the Same Dress" for Mixed company. Melinda has also performed "McBeth", "Summer of the Aliens" and "Juice" for the Brisbane Arts theatre. Melinda's ecletic training includes Martin Chaliis, Zen Zen Zo and Flloyd Kennedy. Her recent screen credits include, "Peter Pan" and QPIX short "Brawn". Melinda has a degree in Drama Teaching from Griffith University.

Susan
Stenlake

Susan has been performing in theatres around Brisbane since 1992. Some of her more recent roles include “Comedy Tonight”, “Stepping Out”, “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner”, “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress”, and “The Women” for Mixed Company; “Ladies Night” and “Murder on the Nile” for Starbuck Productions; “Legend of King O’Malley” for On Giants Shoulders; “Hotel Sorrento” for Brisbane Arts and “Out of the Frying Pan” for Harvest Rain Theatre. In 2001, Susan was nominated for a Perform/4MBS Award for Achievement in the Performing Arts in the category of: Drama. Susan has also had a varitey of roles in film, short film, television and corporate videos.

Andrew
Buchanan

Andrew is looking forward to collaborating again with ol’ pal, Marty, in Raw Theatre.
Andrew’s performed in over 40 theatrical productions, including: The Cherry Orchard - (QTC); Hamlet, Cosi - (La Boite); Much Ado About Nothing - (Harvest Rain). Feature film & TV include: Paperback Hero, Big Sky, Murder Call.
This year he filmed in Through My Eyes, and will film a new SBS series R.A.N in September.
A recipient of several Matilda Awards, his most recent was for his performance in Secret Bridesmaids’ Business for La Boite.

Chris
Sommers

Christopher Sommers is an acting graduate of QUT, Bachelor of fine arts (Acting) 2002. While at QUT he has performed in such plays as Uncle Vanya, The Merchant of Venice, Away, Histories, The Jungle, Building the Wall and, Song of the Yellow Bittern. Other plays include Mountain Language & New World Order, Two for the Road, Faultless and Stained. Short films include Last Aussie Hero Trilogy, Doubt, Crying Wolf and most notably The Machine. TV includes Love Bytes ( Fox 8) Recently The Machine was screened at The Sundance Film Festival.
Christopher made his professional stage debut in Proof for the QTC this year.

Emily
Tomlins

Emily has been involved in the performing arts for many years with fringe and student theatre companies including Pandemonium, Amardean Players, Underground, Click, Borderline Defamation, Laughing Lilith, Better Than Nuthin and Front. She will appear this year with La Boite in Urban Dingoes and QTC in Far Away.
Awards: 2002 Dell’Arte: Best Supporting Actor; 2000 Light Globe: Best Supporting Actor; 1999 Light Globe: Best Female Actor.
Training: 2003 QUT: BFA (Acting); 1998 UQ: BA(Hons); 1995 UQ: BA.

Randall
Mettam

Randall is a 2002 graduate of the QUT actor training course. He has worked with Brainstorm Productions performing to schools in two plays that toured nationally for seven months of last year. Also last year in “White Collar Blue” he played a sexually ambiguous bike courier with a taste for murder and also hammed it up on “Comedy Inc.” as an injured AFL player. Earlier this year he played a Naval controller in Rob Cohen’s “Stealth” which has worldwide release next year. He is currently writing and workshopping a play that he hopes to produce later in the year.

Helen Christinson

Helen is a graduating actor from QUT’s acting course. She has been working with Raw Theatre since mid 2003. Helen’s QUT credits include Masha in The Three Sisters, Narrator in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Paulina in The Winter’s Tale, Zucco’s Mother in Roberto Zucco and Hera in Live Acts on Stage. Other theatre credits include The Accidental Death of an Anarchist and Trainspotting for Nash Theatre. Helen recently played Suzie in Liberty and Beyond’s Through My Eyes and Bree Dennis in the feature film Rapid Fear which is due for international release later this year. She has also appeared in several television commercials. Helen holds a Bachelor of Business Communications Advertising which she has framed and given to her mum.

Martin
Challis

Martin works as an acting teacher at QUT Creative Industries in the Acting and Technical Production discipline. He is also Director of The Studio for Actors Training Company and Studio for Actors Raw Theatre. Martin is pursuing further studies in a Doctorate of Creative Industries.
He completed his actor training at West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in the early eighties and his Masters in Acting Studies at QUT in 2002. Martin works as an acting teacher, director and actor and continues to write poems and lyrics for musicians. In more recent times he has been keen to express his artistic work through articles and essays.

Molly
Knight

Molly Knight comes from a musical background, having spent many years traveling foreign continents living from busking and gigs. In 2003 Molly returned to Australia to pursue acting and since then has been constantly training and has found her niche in the acting world. She has been involved in two short films (QPIX and QCA), TV commercials and is currently working on a stage production at Metro Arts.
 
Molly is a student of Studio for Actors - Training Company.
